CLOUD MICROPHONES

Cloud ribbon microphones as well as the Cloudlifter microphone preamplifiers were developed in cooperation with Stephen Sank, whose father Jon R. Sank (JRS) was, together with Harry Olson, responsible for developing the legendary RCA ribbon microphones that became famous as the BK-11 and BK-10A. Due to Sanks extensive experience, Cloud is once again embracing this legacy. Cloud utilizes the same precision and care in its US-based production as was done in their role models. The technical design is updated to modern standards with CineMag transformers, neodymium magnets and active JFET circuits.
